So Domestic

I would like one of these:
It doesn't have to be this one exactly.  Just one that is in good condition.  A used one would even be fine.

Remember how a few months ago I said that I was going to be all ambitious and make a quilt?  Well, that ambition died a little when I realized that my little sewing machine didn't have a back stitch option on it.  What?  No back stitch, you say?  That's right.  There isn't one.  I read the instructions backwards and forwards and inspected my little machine inside and out.  No back stitch.  Turns out that the sewing machine I have is really only meant to be used for crafts.  I don't quite understand this considering it says 'Dressmaker' on the side of it.  They should have labeled it 'Craftmaker' so as to not confuse those of us who want to use it to make quilts, or dresses for that matter.

For the time being, I must try and be patient and wait until Covey gets a job before I can purchase a new sewing machine.  Yes, I know that there are plenty of sewing machines on sale on KSL and craigslist and ebay.  And as good as the deals may be, and as much as I want one, we really can't afford one right now.  If anyone has one that they would like to let me borrow for the next couple months, I would greatly appreciate it.  I have a stack of lovely material that wants to be made into a quilt.  Please help me fulfill this desire if you are able to.  Otherwise, I will be happy to accept money into the 'Help Shani Get A Sewing Machine Fund'.
