Month Three

3 months!  I cannot believe that Makadie is getting so old! ;)  During her third month of life, we had a lot of fun things happen:

•  First Vacation--We went down to St. George with Covey, who had a business trip there.  We walked around the temple, visited some friends and enjoyed the sunshine!

 

• She slept for 6 hours straight one night!

• First General Conference

• First Easter--My mom bought her a cute little Easter dress for her to wear.

 

 

• Moved up to size 1-2 diapers

• First laugh--She does this funny little high pitched squeak that we figured out was her laugh.  She doesn't actually have a little giggle yet, but the squeak is pretty darn cute!

•  She started making all sorts of noises!  We've had many "conversations".

• Blessing Day--We blessed Makadie on April 15.  The little stinker cried through the majority of her blessing, but she immediately stopped when Covey said that he blessed her to know she was a child of God. :)  We then had almost 50 people over at our house for food!  Thank goodness we have a basement because otherwise there is no way everyone would have fit.

• First cold--Poor girl got her first little cold.  She had a runny nose for about a week. :(

• Everything goes in her mouth--her fingers, my fingers, Covey's fingers, toys, blankets, clothes--everything she can get her hands on! 

 

• Lots of smiles--She almost always sticks out her tongue when she smiles, but it is the cutest thing to see!

• Started playing with her toys more
