Last night we went to the Spanish Fork Rodeo with Shannon, Grayson and Lexi, and Shawn, Malena and Kinsey. It was so much fun! I forget how much I love rodeos until I go to one. (I actually grew up going to rodeos because my dad's side of the family are all cowboys/cowgirls.)
We watched bucking broncos, steer wrestling, barrel racing, mutton bustin', calf ropin', bull riding and some good rodeo clown entertainment. I wish I had got pictures of everything but our seats prevented us from getting a good view of some of the events.

For part of the entertainment, they had a horse stunt woman perform. This is a picture of her with one foot on each of the 2 back horses (nothing tied her feet to the saddles) and her guiding all of them with a really long rein. It was amazing!
Another part of the entertainment was the rodeo clown named Punkintown. In this picture he's sitting on his 'pony-ac' (Pontiac). I couldn't believe the horse just rolled over and let him sit on its stomach. It was really entertaining!
One of the most entertaining parts of the rodeo was the mutton bustin'. For those of you who might not know what that is--it's when little kids ride sheep and see how far they can go before falling off. It is hilarious to watch these kids! Below is a video of the winner. This kid rode the sheep backwards all the way around the arena!
We had a great night and I hope we can go to more rodeos in the years to come!
